Sr. Consultant - Irving, TX:
IT Comp in Irving, TX has openings for Sr. Consultant. Responsible for:
- Providing consulting services which involves the design, development and execution of SAP BI solutions for complex reporting applications.
- Ensure deliverables are implemented on schedule and within project budget.
- Gather requirements from client to understand the current business process, project requirements and scope.
- Create prototypes, data flow diagram and presentations to simulate different scenarios and solutions.
- Conduct working sessions with business users, process team and the Business Intelligence team to demonstrate and debate possible solutions and roadblocks.
- Design and develop data flows from ECC, CRM and BPS for the related modules.
- Ensure methodology is executed and identify methodology/tool improvements.
- Provide pre-sales support and provide project proposals support.
- Increase employer presence and visibility at client sites.
- Travel as needed to client sites based on engagements.
- Train process team members and users regarding the capabilities of SAP BI reporting tool which help slide and dice the reporting data.
- Accountable for the dispute management and trade claims management reporting.
- Design and build reports based on the business KPI's that will replace the existing legacy systems.
- Resolve design and process issues by communicating with the users and team members.

Work as an SAP consultant to design, develop and test in Materials Management, Sales Distribution, Production Planning and Plant Maintenance modules; Create SAP ABAP programs to include: classical and interactive reports, module pools, batch and real-time interfaces (BAPIs – Business Application Programming Interface), conversions, user-exits and smart forms/SAP Scripts; Analyze business processes to create SAP XI technical specifications; Use SAP XI (middleware) for creation of Data Types, Message Types, Message Interfaces (Inbound, Outbound, and Abstract Interfaces), Create Message Mapping, and XSLT Mapping; Work with online communication across SAP contracts, orders, quotations, deliveries with Supply chain products in addition to performance tuning using SQL Trace and Runtime analysis; Increase employer presence and visibility at client sites; Travel as needed to client sites based on engagements.
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a closely related field of study and two years exp. with SAP ABAP programming and one year SAP ABAP XI programming.
