Frank Sica

Frank V. Sica is a Managing Partner at Tailwind Capital Partners. From 1998 to 2006, Mr. Sica worked at Soros Fund Management, LLC where he was responsible for private equity and real estate investment activities. From 1981 to 1998 Mr. Sica worked at Morgan Stanley, where from 1988 to 1998 he was a Managing Director in Morgan Stanley’s Merchant Banking Division. From 1974 to 1977 Mr. Sica was an officer in the US Air Force.

Mr. Sica is a Director of CSG Systems, Inc., JetBlue Airways, Kohl’s Corporation and Safe Bulkers, Inc. He is a Trustee of Wesleyan University, a member of the Board of Overseers for the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, a board member of Business Executives for National Security, the Cancer Research Institute, Lawrence Hospital Center and The American Museum of Natural History. Mr. Sica is a graduate of Wesleyan University, where he received a B.A. degree, and of the Amos Tuck School of Business, where he received an M.B.A.

 

Greg Tomb

Greg Tomb has more than 20 years of experience in the enterprise business application market. Prior to founding Vivido Labs, Mr. Tomb served 13 years at SAP with his recent position as President & CEO of SAP North America, a $6 billion division of SAP AG. Before this, Mr. Tomb held management positions at both Andersen Consulting and Comergent Technologies. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Loyola University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree in Engineering from Penn State University.

 

John Rando

Mr. Rando has over thirty-five years of experience in the Information Technology Industry. Most recently he was a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Compensation Committee at Cognos Inc. (COGN) of Ottawa, Ontario, acquired by IBM in January 2008. He is currently retained as an advisor by Tailwind Capital Partners of New York, a private equity firm and is a board member at Optimal Solutions Inc., Dallas, TX and Archway of Minneapolis, MN. Previously, until July 1999, he was Senior Vice President and Group General Manager of Compaq Global Services for Compaq Computer Corporation, responsible for $7 billion in revenues and over 27,000 service professionals worldwide. In addition, Mr. Rando served as Chairman and President of Compaq’s Federal subsidiary. Mr. Rando joined Compaq in June 1998 from Digital Equipment Corporation, where he was Senior Vice President and Group General Manager of the worldwide services organization. He is a former director of several private and public companies. Mr. Rando holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA and a Masters of Management from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, is a graduate of INSEAD’s Executive International Business Program, Fontainebleau, France and The Center for Creative Leadership in Colorado Springs, CO.

 

Dr. Pallab Chatterjee

Dr. Pallab Chatterjee is an internationally recognized high-tech executive with experience in Corporate General Management, Corporate Governance, Strategy, Technology, Operations, and Outsourcing. Dr. Chatterjee currently is Managing Director and Operating Partner, Symphony Technology Group (STG). Prior to STG, Dr. Chatterjee was Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of i2 Technologies, Inc. Under his leadership, i2 launched a new sales execution model coupled with new services lines for the company's Total Supply Chain Management approach that yielded significant bookings growth for i2. Previous to i2, Dr. Chatterjee spent 24 years at Texas Instruments in various executive management positions. Under his leadership as senior vice president of Research and Development and Chief Technology Officer, the Texas Instruments Technology Labs became known as a standard for excellence acknowledged by both academia and industry. Dr. Chatterjee earned a BS in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India. He received his Master's and Doctorate degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and D.SC (Honoris Causa) from IIT Kharagpur, India. He has received many awards for his work including Member of National Academy of Engineers, IEEE Fellow, J.J.Ebers Award IEEE, TI Senior Fellow, President of India Gold Medal (IIT Valedictorian).

Jim Hoch

Jim Hoch has been a Managing Partner of private equity firm Tailwind Capital Partners since 2003. Prior to joining Tailwind, Mr. Hoch spent nearly two decades at Morgan Stanley and its private equity affiliate, Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, where, as a Managing Director, he led the firm’s European activities, and was a member of the investment committee, overseeing investments in buyouts and growth capital businesses in the US and Europe.

 

Toby Tobaccowala

Toby Tobaccowala has owned and led Arinas, Inc., a business consulting firm focused on mergers and acquisitions, since 2000. He has more than 35 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. Mr. Tobaccowala is currently Chairman of CRI Advantage, an IT services company, and serves on the board of numerous companies, including Olixir Technologies, RedShift Networks, Pearl Street Group, and 360Fresh. From 2003 – 2005, Mr. Tobaccowala served as Chairman of R4 Global Solutions, an RFID technology company acquired by Verisign. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Tobaccowala was EVP for AppNet, a provider of e-Commerce solutions. During his tenure at AppNet, Mr. Tobaccowala assisted with twelve acquisitions, helped take the company public, and facilitated the acquisition of AppNet by CommerceOne in 2000. Prior to this, Mr. Tobaccowala served as CEO of Commerce Direct International (1996-1998) after a 23-year career with EDS, where he served as SBU President, among other senior management positions.
